Narrative:
On the night of 10/wed/01, I was busy working on a research paper for college. I was not able to catch the nightly news like the rest of america that learned you are not supposed to fly within 10 NM of any facility. I did not even know there was a power plant in the state. On the VFR terminal area chart, the facility is only marked by the 1000 ft AGL and below obstruction symbol with small non capitalized letters saying plant. I did not know this symbol was a power plant. I arrived at the airport at XA00 on the morning of 10/wed/01. My student and I did our standard evaluation of the current WX and NOTAMS on our recently purchased dtn which gives us WX and NOTAMS via satellite. This system is not an FAA system like your standard duats, therefore I should have checked with a WX briefer. Enclosed is the printout of NOTAMS that were available to me on this dtn system. You will see that there is no mention of the sites in this state. My student and I departed the airport on a local flight at XA30. We then flew direct to ZZZ. We did one touch and go and noted the fact that here was a decent surface wind for practicing ground reference maneuvers. My student requested at that time to do some ground reference maneuvers. I thought this was a good idea because we have been unable to practice these maneuvers with any kind of wind until this point. So we ventured off to a local practice area located out on the radial of the VOR and 2 statute mi south of YYY. We were at 500 ft AGL when we were intercepted by two F16 falcons. I immediately switched the one radio that we had to 121.5. My first call was 'F16 8 miles southeast of ZZZ this is cessna on 121.5.' FSS radio immediately responded with 'cessna this is FSS radio if you are 8 southeast of ZZZ you are in a no fly zone.' I responded with 'FSS radio this is cessna we will head directly north.' FSS radio came back with 'that would be a good idea.' I later came back with FSS on 121.5 because the F16S were doing repeated passes and told them. We were heading direct for XXX and at this point FSS radio relayed that information to the proper agencies and told us to switch to frequency and stay with them to XXX. We later got a frequency change for CTAF and landed. My first action after being intercepted was the rocking of the wings and trying to follow the interceptor to the desired heading per page 5-6-4 of the aeronautical information manual after watching the F16 perform climbing turn to 18000 ft. I decided to head north away from the bravo airspace. It was at this time that I was able raise FSS radio on 121.5. I feel this situation could have been prevented if all airport managers were required to post this information on tfr's and other airspace closures of this magnitude at access points to the ramp. I feel the standardization of all computer based WX briefing systems found in flight planning rooms at most FBO should be certified by the FAA to give out the correct information. I feel that all sites should be clearly marked and shown as national security areas. I will always get the current NOTAMS straight from the weather briefer from this day on. This will be a learning experience I will never forget!

Title: A C152 INSTRUCTOR AND STUDENT VIOLATED THE RESTR AIRSPACE INVOLVING A PWR PLT.
Narrative: ON THE NIGHT OF 10/WED/01, I WAS BUSY WORKING ON A RESEARCH PAPER FOR COLLEGE. I DID NOT KNOW THIS SYMBOL WAS A PWR PLANT. I ARRIVED AT THE ARPT AT XA00 ON THE MORNING OF 10/WED/01. MY STUDENT AND I DEPARTED THE ARPT ON A LOCAL FLT AT XA30. WE THEN FLEW DIRECT TO ZZZ. WE DID ONE TOUCH AND GO AND NOTED THE FACT THAT HERE WAS A DECENT SURFACE WIND FOR PRACTICING GND REFERENCE MANEUVERS. MY STUDENT REQUESTED AT THAT TIME TO DO SOME GND REFERENCE MANEUVERS. I THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA BECAUSE WE HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO PRACTICE THESE MANEUVERS WITH ANY KIND OF WIND UNTIL THIS POINT. SO WE VENTURED OFF TO A LOCAL PRACTICE AREA LOCATED OUT ON THE RADIAL OF THE VOR AND 2 STATUTE MI S OF YYY. WE WERE AT 500 FT AGL WHEN WE WERE INTERCEPTED BY TWO F16 FALCONS. I IMMEDIATELY SWITCHED THE ONE RADIO THAT WE HAD TO 121.5. MY FIRST CALL WAS 'F16 8 MILES SE OF ZZZ THIS IS CESSNA ON 121.5.' FSS RADIO IMMEDIATELY RESPONDED WITH 'CESSNA THIS IS FSS RADIO IF YOU ARE 8 SE OF ZZZ YOU ARE IN A NO FLY ZONE.' I RESPONDED WITH 'FSS RADIO THIS IS CESSNA WE WILL HEAD DIRECTLY N.' FSS RADIO CAME BACK WITH 'THAT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA.' I LATER CAME BACK WITH FSS ON 121.5 BECAUSE THE F16S WERE DOING REPEATED PASSES AND TOLD THEM. WE WERE HEADING DIRECT FOR XXX AND AT THIS POINT FSS RADIO RELAYED THAT INFO TO THE PROPER AGENCIES AND TOLD US TO SWITCH TO FREQ AND STAY WITH THEM TO XXX. WE LATER GOT A FREQ CHANGE FOR CTAF AND LANDED. MY FIRST ACTION AFTER BEING INTERCEPTED WAS THE ROCKING OF THE WINGS AND TRYING TO FOLLOW THE INTERCEPTOR TO THE DESIRED HEADING PER PAGE 5-6-4 OF THE AERONAUTICAL INFO MANUAL AFTER WATCHING THE F16 PERFORM CLIMBING TURN TO 18000 FT. I DECIDED TO HEAD N AWAY FROM THE BRAVO AIRSPACE. IT WAS AT THIS TIME THAT I WAS ABLE RAISE FSS RADIO ON 121.5. I FEEL THIS SIT COULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED IF ALL ARPT MANAGERS WERE REQUIRED TO POST THIS INFO ON TFR'S AND OTHER AIRSPACE CLOSURES OF THIS MAGNITUDE AT ACCESS POINTS TO THE RAMP. I FEEL THE STANDARDIZATION OF ALL COMPUTER BASED WX BRIEFING SYSTEMS FOUND IN FLT PLANNING ROOMS AT MOST FBO SHOULD BE CERTIFIED BY THE FAA TO GIVE OUT THE CORRECT INFO.
