Narrative:
At or about XA00 I was assigned to fly a photo mission. The photographer advised me that a local government entity had contracted with him to photograph property along the YYY river. This required me to over fly the WWW bridge. I asked the photographer if this had been coordinated. He stated to the affirmative. Several mins later the photographer advised me 'well they may not know I'm doing this today at this time.' we had overflown the north end of the WWW bridge, 3 maybe 4 times. The whole flight from engine start to engine shutdown was 0.8 hours. I should have verified before departure. However, this photographer was former military and I made the assumption he would have properly coordinated. 911 dispatch called, as a city police officer noticed my orbit pattern. He was sensitive to the bridge hoax alert. I have advised all other pilots here to call our county dispatcher and advise them of mission required near bridges. I called all police agencies to advise them of the total mission profile. I was told the FAA was called.
