Narrative:

The flight started with a WX and NOTAM briefing from the ZZZ flight service station at about XA00 local on nov/thu/01. The briefer described good VFR for the flight from ZZZ to ZZZ1 later that morning. The briefer informed me of a 10 mi, 18000 ft restrs around all power plants. We talked about the location of power plants along the route of flight. I said that I was aware of a power plant north of ZZZ2 and another south of ZZZ3. I asked if the power plant at ZZZ4 was and he said that it was. I don't remember the power plant at ZZZ5 being mentioned at all. We departed ZZZ at XD19 and flew at 5500 ft to the ZZZ5 VOR and then on to the coast being careful to avoid ZZZ7 class B airspace. We had good visibility and two sets of eyeballs for traffic. I was not talking to any approach controllers. We crossed the shoreline at ZZZ5 and descended to our destination, ZZZ1 and landed at about XD30 local. Upon landing I was told that I had violated the ZZZ5 power plant airspace and that I was to call ZZZ4 approach on the land line, which I did. I would say that to avoid this problem in the future it would be best to always use flight following even in very good WX and to study the map carefully and to avoid all power plants indicated on the map.
