Narrative:
While flying jen 6 STAR into dal as the flying pilot, I leveled at 11000 ft and the TCAS alert advised of climbing traffic. We acquired the traffic visually and the captain advised me to reduce to 210 knots. I did and was advised shortly thereafter to reduce speed by ATC. Our speed at the speed restr was between 240 to 250 KTS.
