Narrative:
I had just accepted the departure 1 position at dfw TRACON when I saw a data block displayed to me 6 mi south of dfw on a 1200 beacon code at 6000 ft. Aircraft X, E145, had just departed runway 17R at dfw on a 174 degree heading and was at 5700 ft, 5 mi south of dfw. I turned air carrier X, E145, 20 degrees right to keep the targets from merging. Air carrier X saw the aircraft in question, verified the altitude readout as accurate, stated that the aircraft was a GA aircraft, mostly white in color, low wing. Air carrier X could not confirm whether or not it was a single engine or multi engine. I vectored other aircraft around the class B violator and no further incidents occurred.

Title: D10 DEP CTLR TAKES ACTION TO VECTOR AN E145 CLR OF A CLASS B AIRSPACE VIOLATOR.
Narrative: I HAD JUST ACCEPTED THE DEP 1 POS AT DFW TRACON WHEN I SAW A DATA BLOCK DISPLAYED TO ME 6 MI S OF DFW ON A 1200 BEACON CODE AT 6000 FT. ACFT X, E145, HAD JUST DEPARTED RWY 17R AT DFW ON A 174 DEG HDG AND WAS AT 5700 FT, 5 MI S OF DFW. I TURNED ACR X, E145, 20 DEGS R TO KEEP THE TARGETS FROM MERGING. ACR X SAW THE ACFT IN QUESTION, VERIFIED THE ALT READOUT AS ACCURATE, STATED THAT THE ACFT WAS A GA ACFT, MOSTLY WHITE IN COLOR, LOW WING. ACR X COULD NOT CONFIRM WHETHER OR NOT IT WAS A SINGLE ENG OR MULTI ENG. I VECTORED OTHER ACFT AROUND THE CLASS B VIOLATOR AND NO FURTHER INCIDENTS OCCURRED.
