Narrative:
Hazmat exceeding limits for cargo compartment. XA50, location: old ramp. 5 mins before departure, crew chief brought 6 hazmats to captain due to volume of materials. Captain called dispatch and he called hazmat people. The materials of one of the hazmats was the maximum for a cargo compartment. Other materials on 3 other hazmats were moved to another compartment to be legal. 2 of the hazmat forms materials were offloaded after dispatch and hazmat person and captain decided we had too much hazmat of too many different types for the passenger flight. Please brief cargo and local hazmat personnel as to cargo compartment limits.

Title: CREW CHIEF AND CAPT OF B757 LEARN THAT PROPOSED HAZMAT QUANTITY AND TYPES COULD NOT ALL BE LOADED ON THEIR PAX CARRYING ACFT AND THE REMAINING HAD TO BE REDISTRIBUTED TO ANOTHER CARGO BIN IN ORDER TO MEET HAZMAT CARRYING REQUIREMENTS.
