Narrative:
We had been delayed for maintenance for 5 hours in heavy rain. While the crew sat inside operations, the ramp personnel moved the aircraft from the gate. After maintenance finished, I did a walkaround and confirmed the engine cowling was reinstalled properly. No gear pin flag was observed. The ramp personnel removed the chocks and we taxied for departure. On climb out, we received a gear disagreement message, and returned to the field for landing. After landing, we taxied in to the gate and checked the nose gear and found the pin installed. The captain went inside and called for maintenance. We then proceeded back to cvg. One possible problem we learned of was that the station personnel told us that our code share carrier doesn't use gear pins for push. So they may not have used the pin on the other pushes they had done. They see a CL65 and sometimes just push. Secondly, they also open the nose door on the ground to install the pin. This is not our procedure and could possibly leave the pin flag closed inside the nose gear bay.

Title: CL65 FLC RETURN LAND AFTER OBSERVING THAT THE LNDG GEAR HAD NOT PROPERLY RETRACTED AFTER TKOF. NOSE GEAR PIN WAS FOUND STILL INSTALLED.
Narrative: WE HAD BEEN DELAYED FOR MAINT FOR 5 HRS IN HVY RAIN. WHILE THE CREW SAT INSIDE OPS, THE RAMP PERSONNEL MOVED THE ACFT FROM THE GATE. AFTER MAINT FINISHED, I DID A WALKAROUND AND CONFIRMED THE ENG COWLING WAS REINSTALLED PROPERLY. NO GEAR PIN FLAG WAS OBSERVED. THE RAMP PERSONNEL REMOVED THE CHOCKS AND WE TAXIED FOR DEP. ON CLBOUT, WE RECEIVED A GEAR DISAGREEMENT MESSAGE, AND RETURNED TO THE FIELD FOR LNDG. AFTER LNDG, WE TAXIED IN TO THE GATE AND CHKED THE NOSE GEAR AND FOUND THE PIN INSTALLED. THE CAPT WENT INSIDE AND CALLED FOR MAINT. WE THEN PROCEEDED BACK TO CVG. ONE POSSIBLE PROB WE LEARNED OF WAS THAT THE STATION PERSONNEL TOLD US THAT OUR CODE SHARE CARRIER DOESN'T USE GEAR PINS FOR PUSH. SO THEY MAY NOT HAVE USED THE PIN ON THE OTHER PUSHES THEY HAD DONE. THEY SEE A CL65 AND SOMETIMES JUST PUSH. SECONDLY, THEY ALSO OPEN THE NOSE DOOR ON THE GND TO INSTALL THE PIN. THIS IS NOT OUR PROC AND COULD POSSIBLY LEAVE THE PIN FLAG CLOSED INSIDE THE NOSE GEAR BAY.
