Narrative:
We were to reposition a B737 from the hangar parking area to gate. Gate was occupied with an MD80. As the MD80 pushed back off of gate, we proceeded to start engines. We called and received clearance to taxi via taxiway K to gate. The MD80 was instructed to push clear of gate. However, the gate was blocked. We were instructed to proceed on taxiway K, hold short of taxiway east and switch to tower frequency. Tower instructed us left on taxiway east and to follow the B747. We crossed runway 6L and entered runway 6R. Tower instructed us to stop then to proceed quickly for aircraft were approaching. If I was wrong, rethinking this many times, I feel it was due to having tower frequency and our company frequency on at the same time, both speaking simultaneously. I believe I selected company frequency as we approached our gate to call for wing walkers.

Title: A B737-200 BEING REPOSITIONED BY 2 TECHNICIANS INCURRED A RWY INCURSION CAUSED BY CONFUSION LISTENING TO 2 SEPARATE FREQS.
Narrative: WE WERE TO REPOSITION A B737 FROM THE HANGAR PARKING AREA TO GATE. GATE WAS OCCUPIED WITH AN MD80. AS THE MD80 PUSHED BACK OFF OF GATE, WE PROCEEDED TO START ENGS. WE CALLED AND RECEIVED CLRNC TO TAXI VIA TXWY K TO GATE. THE MD80 WAS INSTRUCTED TO PUSH CLR OF GATE. HOWEVER, THE GATE WAS BLOCKED. WE WERE INSTRUCTED TO PROCEED ON TXWY K, HOLD SHORT OF TXWY E AND SWITCH TO TWR FREQ. TWR INSTRUCTED US L ON TXWY E AND TO FOLLOW THE B747. WE CROSSED RWY 6L AND ENTERED RWY 6R. TWR INSTRUCTED US TO STOP THEN TO PROCEED QUICKLY FOR ACFT WERE APCHING. IF I WAS WRONG, RETHINKING THIS MANY TIMES, I FEEL IT WAS DUE TO HAVING TWR FREQ AND OUR COMPANY FREQ ON AT THE SAME TIME, BOTH SPEAKING SIMULTANEOUSLY. I BELIEVE I SELECTED COMPANY FREQ AS WE APCHED OUR GATE TO CALL FOR WING WALKERS.
