Narrative:
Taking off runway 2 in mwa we hit 9 seagulls at 30 ft AGL, at which point we lost our critical right engine. WX was 300 ovc, 1 3/4 SM visibility, we diverted to cga due to WX and possibility at hitting another bird (flock of seagulls was very large more than 200 birds!) great CRM and very helpful tower controller turned this emergency into a non event.
