Narrative:
While working several aircraft malfunctions, altitude deviation of approximately 400 ft from 3000 ft to 3400 ft. Had a landing gear which would not retract, a large shock absorber fault ECAM, multiple disengagements of autoplt, autothrust and flight directors which eventually were totally inoperative. Declared emergency shortly thereafter and landed uneventfully at bfm.

Title: AN A320 CREW, ENCOUNTERING MULTIPLE MALFUNCTIONS, RETURNED TO BFM.
Narrative: WHILE WORKING SEVERAL ACFT MALFUNCTIONS, ALTDEV OF APPROX 400 FT FROM 3000 FT TO 3400 FT. HAD A LNDG GEAR WHICH WOULD NOT RETRACT, A LARGE SHOCK ABSORBER FAULT ECAM, MULTIPLE DISENGAGEMENTS OF AUTOPLT, AUTOTHRUST AND FLT DIRECTORS WHICH EVENTUALLY WERE TOTALLY INOP. DECLARED EMER SHORTLY THEREAFTER AND LANDED UNEVENTFULLY AT BFM.
