Narrative:
First officer was PF, flying a coupled ILS approach to runway 35L. WX was clear and standard calls were made. Autoplt and autothrottles were disconnected at approximately 300 ft. Approach was on the money to 50 ft when sink rate increased. I called out sink rate and first officer compensated with nose up and slight power increase. Approaching 20 ft, we were back in the slot. I was guarding the throttles when first officer closed the throttles. Without adequate altitude to compensate, aircraft settled firmly from approximately 10 ft to the runway. While taxiing to gate, one flight attendant informed me that flight attendant #3 was suffering back pain. Paramedics were requested and met the aircraft at the gate to transport flight attendant #3 from the aircraft. Maintenance was called and I made a log entry requesting an inspection following a hard landing. In retrospect there may have been a slight tailwind contributing to the aircraft sink rate. Airspeed was on speed and sinking approximately 800 FPM at touchdown.

Title: CABIN CREW INJURY AND MAINT INSPECTION OF ACFT AFTER A FIRM LNDG BY THE SIC OF AN ACR ACFT.
Narrative: FO WAS PF, FLYING A COUPLED ILS APCH TO RWY 35L. WX WAS CLR AND STANDARD CALLS WERE MADE. AUTOPLT AND AUTOTHROTTLES WERE DISCONNECTED AT APPROX 300 FT. APCH WAS ON THE MONEY TO 50 FT WHEN SINK RATE INCREASED. I CALLED OUT SINK RATE AND FO COMPENSATED WITH NOSE UP AND SLIGHT PWR INCREASE. APCHING 20 FT, WE WERE BACK IN THE SLOT. I WAS GUARDING THE THROTTLES WHEN FO CLOSED THE THROTTLES. WITHOUT ADEQUATE ALT TO COMPENSATE, ACFT SETTLED FIRMLY FROM APPROX 10 FT TO THE RWY. WHILE TAXIING TO GATE, ONE FLT ATTENDANT INFORMED ME THAT FLT ATTENDANT #3 WAS SUFFERING BACK PAIN. PARAMEDICS WERE REQUESTED AND MET THE ACFT AT THE GATE TO TRANSPORT FLT ATTENDANT #3 FROM THE ACFT. MAINT WAS CALLED AND I MADE A LOG ENTRY REQUESTING AN INSPECTION FOLLOWING A HARD LNDG. IN RETROSPECT THERE MAY HAVE BEEN A SLIGHT TAILWIND CONTRIBUTING TO THE ACFT SINK RATE. AIRSPD WAS ON SPD AND SINKING APPROX 800 FPM AT TOUCHDOWN.
