Narrative:

Climbing through FL280, I noticed the 'cabin pressure above 10000 ft' light lit on the annunciator panel. I put on my oxygen mask and got the copilot's oxygen mask for him. I called for the checklist. Running the checklist did not fix the problem. I asked center for a descent and was cleared to 17000 ft. At this time, I started experiencing radio problems. I requested vectors to apa and landed there. Maintenance found the pressure controller bad and the hand mikes bad.
