Narrative:
Captain called backed to cabin attendant and notified crew, we were having flight control problems approximately 8 mins into flight. I asked him if he thought we should prepare the cabin attendant for emergency landing by completing planned emergency checklist. He said he didn't think it necessary but told us to be prepared for a bumpy descent into ZZZ and possible evacuation if necessary. Flight landed safely without incident. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated the aircraft was flying strangely and after noting this to the other cabin attendant attendants the captain advised the horizontal stabilizer trim was inoperative. The reporter said the airplane landed uneventfully. The reporter stated the maintenance action to correct the stabilizer trim failure is unknown.
