Narrative:
When coming in for a landing on runway 16 in denver, co (visual), the GS for runway 16 was showing that I was 2 dots high. During the descent into denver, co, I leveled off at 500 AGL. We were really low. GS eventually showed correct indication.

Title: CFIT. THE PIC OF A BE1900 ALLOWS THE FLT TO DSND TO 500 FT AGL WITHIN 15 NM OF THE ARPT DURING A DAWN VISUAL APCH INTO RWY 16 AT DEN, CO.
Narrative: WHEN COMING IN FOR A LNDG ON RWY 16 IN DENVER, CO (VISUAL), THE GS FOR RWY 16 WAS SHOWING THAT I WAS 2 DOTS HIGH. DURING THE DSCNT INTO DENVER, CO, I LEVELED OFF AT 500 AGL. WE WERE REALLY LOW. GS EVENTUALLY SHOWED CORRECT INDICATION.
