Narrative:

Taxiing: made 2 wrong turns while taxiing at local airport. Pilot did not have airport diagram visually available. It was in flight bag. Pilot did not write down ground control instructions. Pilot thought he was following instructions until reprimanded by controller. My personal plan: use airport diagram. Write down ground control instructions.
