Narrative:
8 1/2 hours prior to event we departed dfw. With 1 stop and a plane change in phx bound for pdx, we held 1/2 hour prior to diverting to sea for WX. On descent via the olympia 3 arrival, which we were cleared for, we selected 10000 ft on the altitude reminder (instead of 12000 for turbojets). ATC questioned our altitude, which we read back. He then cleared us to cross olm at 12000 ft, which we did. It may be beneficial to list the more restrictive (higher) altitudes first, in descending order, as well as turbojet aircraft prior to turboprop aircraft.

Title: AN A319 FLT DSNDS BELOW THE ASSIGNED ALT XING RESTR FOR TURBOJETS ON THE OLM 3 ARR WHEN THE FO SETS IN THE ALT USED FOR TURBOPROPS, 5 NM FROM OLM, WA.
Narrative: 8 1/2 HRS PRIOR TO EVENT WE DEPARTED DFW. WITH 1 STOP AND A PLANE CHANGE IN PHX BOUND FOR PDX, WE HELD 1/2 HR PRIOR TO DIVERTING TO SEA FOR WX. ON DSCNT VIA THE OLYMPIA 3 ARR, WHICH WE WERE CLRED FOR, WE SELECTED 10000 FT ON THE ALT REMINDER (INSTEAD OF 12000 FOR TURBOJETS). ATC QUESTIONED OUR ALT, WHICH WE READ BACK. HE THEN CLRED US TO CROSS OLM AT 12000 FT, WHICH WE DID. IT MAY BE BENEFICIAL TO LIST THE MORE RESTRICTIVE (HIGHER) ALTS FIRST, IN DSNDING ORDER, AS WELL AS TURBOJET ACFT PRIOR TO TURBOPROP ACFT.
