Narrative:
Altitudes at brand and korry intxns were not complied with because of late activation of autoplt descent mode. Student in left seat, check airman in right. Aircraft was taken by check airman to attempt to comply with STAR altitudes. Brand missed by 1000 ft, korry by 500 ft. ATC said there was no problem.

Narrative: ALTS AT BRAND AND KORRY INTXNS WERE NOT COMPLIED WITH BECAUSE OF LATE ACTIVATION OF AUTOPLT DSCNT MODE. STUDENT IN L SEAT, CHK AIRMAN IN R. ACFT WAS TAKEN BY CHK AIRMAN TO ATTEMPT TO COMPLY WITH STAR ALTS. BRAND MISSED BY 1000 FT, KORRY BY 500 FT. ATC SAID THERE WAS NO PROB.
