Narrative:
Received TA at altitude followed by controller directed turn of 40 degrees right for us and 40 degrees right for another aircraft. Visual contact with other aircraft was never achieved. Unable to say how close 2 aircraft came. Controller advised that other aircraft was on vectors and got too close. Supplemental information from acn 535860: the range selection on both navigation displays was set to the 160 NM range, so it was difficult to see how close the other aircraft was.

Narrative: RECEIVED TA AT ALT FOLLOWED BY CTLR DIRECTED TURN OF 40 DEGS R FOR US AND 40 DEGS R FOR ANOTHER ACFT. VISUAL CONTACT WITH OTHER ACFT WAS NEVER ACHIEVED. UNABLE TO SAY HOW CLOSE 2 ACFT CAME. CTLR ADVISED THAT OTHER ACFT WAS ON VECTORS AND GOT TOO CLOSE. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 535860: THE RANGE SELECTION ON BOTH NAV DISPLAYS WAS SET TO THE 160 NM RANGE, SO IT WAS DIFFICULT TO SEE HOW CLOSE THE OTHER ACFT WAS.
