Narrative:
Air carrier X checked on to my sector frequency at FL330 and shortly afterwards requested a climb to FL370. Upon air carrier X entering my airspace, I issued air carrier X a climb to FL350. I was aware that air carrier Y was going to turn left at sln and I felt I would have the separation I needed between these 2 aircraft. Air carrier Y turned wbound at sln a little quicker than I anticipated creating a conflict with air carrier X. At that time I issued turns to both aircraft.
