Narrative:
The clt tower was telling another aircraft on a different frequency landing on runway 23 to go around. We were landing on runway 18R. The tower controller working our frequency said 'no need to acknowledge, go around XXXX and YYYY.' we began our low altitude go around and reported this to the tower. There was a potential for 3 aircraft going around at the same time -- not a good thing. Apparently, our tower controller was just trying to advise us that an aircraft on a different runway was going around. However, the words didn't come out like she intended.

Title: LCL CTLR WORKING COMBINED LCL FREQS AT CLT MAY HAVE MISSPOKE CAUSING MULTIPLE GARS.
Narrative: THE CLT TWR WAS TELLING ANOTHER ACFT ON A DIFFERENT FREQ LNDG ON RWY 23 TO GO AROUND. WE WERE LNDG ON RWY 18R. THE TWR CTLR WORKING OUR FREQ SAID 'NO NEED TO ACKNOWLEDGE, GO AROUND XXXX AND YYYY.' WE BEGAN OUR LOW ALT GAR AND RPTED THIS TO THE TWR. THERE WAS A POTENTIAL FOR 3 ACFT GOING AROUND AT THE SAME TIME -- NOT A GOOD THING. APPARENTLY, OUR TWR CTLR WAS JUST TRYING TO ADVISE US THAT AN ACFT ON A DIFFERENT RWY WAS GOING AROUND. HOWEVER, THE WORDS DIDN'T COME OUT LIKE SHE INTENDED.
