Narrative:
I was the captain of a BE90 along with my first officer for the medfly operation in the los angeles, ca, basin. I was in communication with smo tower in their airspace with a squawk code and just north of the los angeles surface class B airspace flying at approximately 2100 ft MSL. I was in what is referred to as region 7 (see attached map) and race tracking the southern passes, as is company policy. On the southeastern part of the region, I came close to the surface class B airspace, but did not penetrate the airspace (see black arrow on map) as I continued wbound smo tower told me to switch to lax tower because the supervisor wanted to talk to me. The supervisor said, 'you are in the class B airspace and in direct conflict with traffic.' he said that I should check my ground reference. I did not argue with him so I just said that I was using our GPS map and thanked him for the heads-up. On the subsequent southern passes, I was in communication with smo and lax towers simultaneously. When I returned to base, I told my boss what had occurred and asked that a map of the flight be printed which clearly shows I was not in the class B airspace. I have marked the map a little to help orient the class B airspace and lax.

Title: A BE9 SPRAY PLANE WANDERS INTO THE CLASS B AIRSPACE OF LAX WHILE USING HIS GPS MAP FOR GUIDANCE. LAX CTLR CALLS HIM AS INVASIVE TFC TO TWR AT SMO, CA.
Narrative: I WAS THE CAPT OF A BE90 ALONG WITH MY FO FOR THE MEDFLY OP IN THE LOS ANGELES, CA, BASIN. I WAS IN COM WITH SMO TWR IN THEIR AIRSPACE WITH A SQUAWK CODE AND JUST N OF THE LOS ANGELES SURFACE CLASS B AIRSPACE FLYING AT APPROX 2100 FT MSL. I WAS IN WHAT IS REFERRED TO AS REGION 7 (SEE ATTACHED MAP) AND RACE TRACKING THE SOUTHERN PASSES, AS IS COMPANY POLICY. ON THE SOUTHEASTERN PART OF THE REGION, I CAME CLOSE TO THE SURFACE CLASS B AIRSPACE, BUT DID NOT PENETRATE THE AIRSPACE (SEE BLACK ARROW ON MAP) AS I CONTINUED WBOUND SMO TWR TOLD ME TO SWITCH TO LAX TWR BECAUSE THE SUPVR WANTED TO TALK TO ME. THE SUPVR SAID, 'YOU ARE IN THE CLASS B AIRSPACE AND IN DIRECT CONFLICT WITH TFC.' HE SAID THAT I SHOULD CHK MY GND REF. I DID NOT ARGUE WITH HIM SO I JUST SAID THAT I WAS USING OUR GPS MAP AND THANKED HIM FOR THE HEADS-UP. ON THE SUBSEQUENT SOUTHERN PASSES, I WAS IN COM WITH SMO AND LAX TWRS SIMULTANEOUSLY. WHEN I RETURNED TO BASE, I TOLD MY BOSS WHAT HAD OCCURRED AND ASKED THAT A MAP OF THE FLT BE PRINTED WHICH CLRLY SHOWS I WAS NOT IN THE CLASS B AIRSPACE. I HAVE MARKED THE MAP A LITTLE TO HELP ORIENT THE CLASS B AIRSPACE AND LAX.
