Narrative:
This flight was delayed about 1/2 hour. Apparently several passenger decided to wait in the bar. 2 young women boarded and asked me if they could upgrade to first class. I directed them to the gate agents. They chose to take their assigned seats. After their first service the main cabin flight attendants told me (flight attendant #1) they had served the 2 women 1 drink then cut them off. All 4 flight attendants were aware of this. What we were not aware of was male passenger buying drinks and giving them to the 2 women. When this was found out they also were cut off. When deplaning, 1 of the 2 women tried to hug flight attendant #3 and myself. Flight attendant #3 politely told her to be careful of her conduct on her return flight, that she could be denied boarding on the basis of intoxication. The woman then said to us 'the reason I had to get so '*@!? Faced' is because of air carrier crashed and killing people.' we were shocked. I couldn't believe someone would say that to a flight attendant or any airline employee. Flight attendant #3 then reported this to the agent. There is no doubt that alcohol is the reason the problem arose and that it was a contributing factor. They seemed fine on the ground, but altitude and alcohol seemed to escalate their intoxication. There is nothing I can think of that we could have done differently. If I would have suspected anything before takeoff, I would not have hesitated to notify the captain or the agent.

Title: B757 CABIN ATTENDANT RPTS PAX MISCONDUCT ESCALATED BY ALCOHOL DRINKS.
Narrative: THIS FLT WAS DELAYED ABOUT 1/2 HR. APPARENTLY SEVERAL PAX DECIDED TO WAIT IN THE BAR. 2 YOUNG WOMEN BOARDED AND ASKED ME IF THEY COULD UPGRADE TO FIRST CLASS. I DIRECTED THEM TO THE GATE AGENTS. THEY CHOSE TO TAKE THEIR ASSIGNED SEATS. AFTER THEIR FIRST SVC THE MAIN CABIN FLT ATTENDANTS TOLD ME (FLT ATTENDANT #1) THEY HAD SERVED THE 2 WOMEN 1 DRINK THEN CUT THEM OFF. ALL 4 FLT ATTENDANTS WERE AWARE OF THIS. WHAT WE WERE NOT AWARE OF WAS MALE PAX BUYING DRINKS AND GIVING THEM TO THE 2 WOMEN. WHEN THIS WAS FOUND OUT THEY ALSO WERE CUT OFF. WHEN DEPLANING, 1 OF THE 2 WOMEN TRIED TO HUG FLT ATTENDANT #3 AND MYSELF. FLT ATTENDANT #3 POLITELY TOLD HER TO BE CAREFUL OF HER CONDUCT ON HER RETURN FLT, THAT SHE COULD BE DENIED BOARDING ON THE BASIS OF INTOXICATION. THE WOMAN THEN SAID TO US 'THE REASON I HAD TO GET SO '*@!? FACED' IS BECAUSE OF ACR CRASHED AND KILLING PEOPLE.' WE WERE SHOCKED. I COULDN'T BELIEVE SOMEONE WOULD SAY THAT TO A FLT ATTENDANT OR ANY AIRLINE EMPLOYEE. FLT ATTENDANT #3 THEN RPTED THIS TO THE AGENT. THERE IS NO DOUBT THAT ALCOHOL IS THE REASON THE PROB AROSE AND THAT IT WAS A CONTRIBUTING FACTOR. THEY SEEMED FINE ON THE GND, BUT ALT AND ALCOHOL SEEMED TO ESCALATE THEIR INTOXICATION. THERE IS NOTHING I CAN THINK OF THAT WE COULD HAVE DONE DIFFERENTLY. IF I WOULD HAVE SUSPECTED ANYTHING BEFORE TKOF, I WOULD NOT HAVE HESITATED TO NOTIFY THE CAPT OR THE AGENT.
