Narrative:
Our flight mdw-lga was given an edct of XA18. We pushed back on schedule at XA21. After the push onto taxiway Y nose northwest, ground cleared us to taxiway Q hold short of runway 22L. Ground then cleared us to taxiway Q, cross runway 22L, hold short on other side. As I turned onto taxiway Q ground instructed us to hold short of runway 22L. The first officer advised ground we were 'over the hold short line.' ground instructed us to hold our present position. Traffic on about 1 mi final went around. We were then reclred across runway 22L.
