Narrative:

On final approach, put the landing gear down and nose gear came down and locked, but both main gear remained up. Put landing gear handle up and all landing gear came up. Put landing gear handle down and the nose gear came down and locked, but both mains stayed up and locked. Checked hydraulic pressure and was ok. Performed manual gear extension checklist and all 3 gear came down and locked. Landed with no other problems. Had emergency equipment standing by for precaution. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated the maintenance crew replaced the landing gear logic box and returned the airplane to service. The reporter said the landing gear was extended manually.

Title: A CANADAIR CL65 ON APCH AT 4000 FT EXTENDED LNDG GEAR AND ONLY NOSE GEAR EXTENDED AND LOCKED WITH MAINS INDICATING UP AND LOCKED.

Narrative: ON FINAL APCH, PUT THE LNDG GEAR DOWN AND NOSE GEAR CAME DOWN AND LOCKED, BUT BOTH MAIN GEAR REMAINED UP. PUT LNDG GEAR HANDLE UP AND ALL LNDG GEAR CAME UP. PUT LNDG GEAR HANDLE DOWN AND THE NOSE GEAR CAME DOWN AND LOCKED, BUT BOTH MAINS STAYED UP AND LOCKED. CHKED HYD PRESSURE AND WAS OK. PERFORMED MANUAL GEAR EXTENSION CHKLIST AND ALL 3 GEAR CAME DOWN AND LOCKED. LANDED WITH NO OTHER PROBS. HAD EMER EQUIP STANDING BY FOR PRECAUTION. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE RPTR STATED THE MAINT CREW REPLACED THE LNDG GEAR LOGIC BOX AND RETURNED THE AIRPLANE TO SVC. THE RPTR SAID THE LNDG GEAR WAS EXTENDED MANUALLY.
