Narrative:
On feb/sun/02, departed ft lauderdale international airport (fll), for a VFR flight to ZZZZ, first officer. The flight crew was the first officer and myself the captain. The WX conditions were VFR with winds out of the northwest. I set up for a nwesterly water landing on the east side of the bridge. After touchdown I continued to taxi with the aircraft on the step, adding some power to transition over some primary boat wakes. I saw some secondary swells in the distance and brought both power levers into reverse to slow down and stop the aircraft before encountering the secondary swells. We started to yaw to the right and skip as we launched from the wake. The aircraft settled on the left sponson/float, which got side loaded. Once we came to a full stop the landing gear was selected down, and we taxied to the seaplane ramp. We shut down and deplaned the passenger through the normal entrance door. I got caught in secondary swells, before fully coming off the step, taxi.

Title: G73 CREW TAXIED TOO FAST FOR THE SEA CONDITIONS EXISTING AT THE LNDG SIGHT AT ZZZ, FO.
Narrative: ON FEB/SUN/02, DEPARTED FT LAUDERDALE INTL ARPT (FLL), FOR A VFR FLT TO ZZZZ, FO. THE FLC WAS THE FO AND MYSELF THE CAPT. THE WX CONDITIONS WERE VFR WITH WINDS OUT OF THE NW. I SET UP FOR A NWESTERLY WATER LNDG ON THE E SIDE OF THE BRIDGE. AFTER TOUCHDOWN I CONTINUED TO TAXI WITH THE ACFT ON THE STEP, ADDING SOME PWR TO TRANSITION OVER SOME PRIMARY BOAT WAKES. I SAW SOME SECONDARY SWELLS IN THE DISTANCE AND BROUGHT BOTH PWR LEVERS INTO REVERSE TO SLOW DOWN AND STOP THE ACFT BEFORE ENCOUNTERING THE SECONDARY SWELLS. WE STARTED TO YAW TO THE R AND SKIP AS WE LAUNCHED FROM THE WAKE. THE ACFT SETTLED ON THE L SPONSON/FLOAT, WHICH GOT SIDE LOADED. ONCE WE CAME TO A FULL STOP THE LNDG GEAR WAS SELECTED DOWN, AND WE TAXIED TO THE SEAPLANE RAMP. WE SHUT DOWN AND DEPLANED THE PAX THROUGH THE NORMAL ENTRANCE DOOR. I GOT CAUGHT IN SECONDARY SWELLS, BEFORE FULLY COMING OFF THE STEP, TAXI.
