Narrative:

I was working the kng hi sector. I had no 'D' side. The B737 was wbound at FL310. I vectored them to a 330 degree heading for traffic. I then turned to put an amendment in using the new 'ccld.' as I was trying to do this, a crj called on at FL290 requesting FL330. When I looked, it appeared the two were not in conflict, so I climbed them. Once the B737 had finished his turn, I remembered that I had turned him into the climber. Turns were issued at that time. I should have had someone help me with the amendment, so that I was not distraction from the radar scope.
