Narrative:
During the course of calibrating some safety load cells for airbus aircraft which could not be brought into tolerances per manufacturer's specifications, these load cells were sent to the vendor to be calibrated. Upon the load cells being returned, they were put on the calibration lab's force calibrator. The calibrator and the load cells did not match. The calibration lab's load cell could be out of tolerance. The calibration lab's load cell has been sent back to the vendor even though it has 7 months to go before it needs recalibration. Several other tools with load cells have been calibrated with this load cell. The unit has not returned from vendor yet.
