Narrative:

While en route from anc to sea, we requested and were granted a climb from FL290 to FL330. During the climb, ATC directed a 30 degree right turn. Due to distrs from dealing with a medical emergency on board our aircraft, the copilot (who was flying) started a left turn but corrected back to the right. The slight delay in initiating the right turn resulted in a TCASII RA ('climb, climb, climb'). The other aircraft was in sight at all times and passed approximately 1 mi left and 1500 ft below. There were no radio xmissions from ATC during or after the event.
