Narrative:

The saab 340 landed at abr runway 31. Overcast to the east, shadow cast on airport. I taxied and held in VFR conditions. I looked down and ran engines up to 20 inches manifold pressure. Looked up and started ground roll. As I rotated, I saw the saab 340 exiting runway 31 at the last exit 6900 ft away. The saab had become camouflaged against the building at the end of runway 31 and I did not see it until it turned off onto the last northeast taxiway. As I rotated, I became airborne and made a gradual left turn away from the saab. I was never closer than 5000 ft horizontally. I climbed to 6000 ft and picked up IFR to bis. I felt no conflict across and neither aircraft were in danger. Factors: 1) saab 340 had a dark paint scheme. 2) shadow on airport and building at departure end of runway 31. 3) my failure to have the saab clear the runway. 4) slow rollout of saab.
