Narrative:

I landed on the wrong runway in cmh. I was supposed to land runway 28L, instead I landed on runway 28R. We didn't realize my mistake until turning off the runway (things were out of place?). How the problem arose: a little fatigue, complacency, and when turned on final (with a large overshoot) I saw what I wanted to see and landed on it. The controller was fairly busy working a couple of different frequencys (ground, tower, approach/departure). As a result he was late to let us down and then overshot us to the final approach course. I then made a 'big mistake' in not alertly crossing and verifying the visual cues as well as why the VASI's were showing me low when I was indicating on the slope with the runway 28L ILS (runways are slightly offset and I didn't notice this until about 500 ft and while thinking it unusual, set it aside and concentrated on making a good approach and landing). The captain said he had noticed me headed for the right runway but thought that perhaps he had missed a call and didn't make time to clarify the possibility. In conclusion, a simple straightforward night visual, that caught me comfortable and confident that all was ok. What a rude awakening!

Title: EMB145 FO APCHED AND LANDED ON THE WRONG PARALLEL RWY AFTER TWR CTLR KEPT THEM HIGH AND OVERSHOT FINAL FOR THE RWY TO WHICH THEY HAD BEEN CLRED.

Narrative: I LANDED ON THE WRONG RWY IN CMH. I WAS SUPPOSED TO LAND RWY 28L, INSTEAD I LANDED ON RWY 28R. WE DIDN'T REALIZE MY MISTAKE UNTIL TURNING OFF THE RWY (THINGS WERE OUT OF PLACE?). HOW THE PROB AROSE: A LITTLE FATIGUE, COMPLACENCY, AND WHEN TURNED ON FINAL (WITH A LARGE OVERSHOOT) I SAW WHAT I WANTED TO SEE AND LANDED ON IT. THE CTLR WAS FAIRLY BUSY WORKING A COUPLE OF DIFFERENT FREQS (GND, TWR, APCH/DEP). AS A RESULT HE WAS LATE TO LET US DOWN AND THEN OVERSHOT US TO THE FINAL APCH COURSE. I THEN MADE A 'BIG MISTAKE' IN NOT ALERTLY XING AND VERIFYING THE VISUAL CUES AS WELL AS WHY THE VASI'S WERE SHOWING ME LOW WHEN I WAS INDICATING ON THE SLOPE WITH THE RWY 28L ILS (RWYS ARE SLIGHTLY OFFSET AND I DIDN'T NOTICE THIS UNTIL ABOUT 500 FT AND WHILE THINKING IT UNUSUAL, SET IT ASIDE AND CONCENTRATED ON MAKING A GOOD APCH AND LNDG). THE CAPT SAID HE HAD NOTICED ME HEADED FOR THE RIGHT RWY BUT THOUGHT THAT PERHAPS HE HAD MISSED A CALL AND DIDN'T MAKE TIME TO CLARIFY THE POSSIBILITY. IN CONCLUSION, A SIMPLE STRAIGHTFORWARD NIGHT VISUAL, THAT CAUGHT ME COMFORTABLE AND CONFIDENT THAT ALL WAS OK. WHAT A RUDE AWAKENING!
