Narrative:
At the beginning of the shift, I was assigned by the crew chief to be on the tire and brake crew with technician X. He stated that there was an open write-up of the #1 brake having a hydraulic leak. We gathered the necessary equipment to perform the tire and brake change. The aircraft was located on the south ramp at hangars between second. We inspected the aircraft to verify that the brake was working. We proceeded to perform the job as necessary.

Title: A FOKKER 100 WAS RELEASED FOR SVC IN NON COMPLIANCE WITH #1 MAIN LNDG GEAR BRAKE ASSEMBLY INCORRECTLY INSTALLED.
Narrative: AT THE BEGINNING OF THE SHIFT, I WAS ASSIGNED BY THE CREW CHIEF TO BE ON THE TIRE AND BRAKE CREW WITH TECHNICIAN X. HE STATED THAT THERE WAS AN OPEN WRITE-UP OF THE #1 BRAKE HAVING A HYD LEAK. WE GATHERED THE NECESSARY EQUIP TO PERFORM THE TIRE AND BRAKE CHANGE. THE ACFT WAS LOCATED ON THE S RAMP AT HANGARS BTWN SECOND. WE INSPECTED THE ACFT TO VERIFY THAT THE BRAKE WAS WORKING. WE PROCEEDED TO PERFORM THE JOB AS NECESSARY.
