Narrative:
Aircraft X was in ZZZ on feb/xa/02 and feb/xb/02 for change of APU fuel shutoff valve, due to leakage. Contract workers from company Y specialists, opened the center fuel tank, removed and replaced the shutoff valve and closed up the center tank. There was no inspection or rii sign off for the close-up of the tank per gpm 18-01 paragraph C-10. The fuel tank was not inspected until feb/xb/02 in ZZZ2.

Title: A B757-200 HAD AN APU FUEL SHUTOFF VALVE REPLACED BY A CONTRACT SPECIALIST REQUIRING CTR TANK ENTRY. CARRIER TECHNICIAN RPTS NO REQUIRED INSPECTION MADE PER CARRIER'S PROC MANUAL.
Narrative: ACFT X WAS IN ZZZ ON FEB/XA/02 AND FEB/XB/02 FOR CHANGE OF APU FUEL SHUTOFF VALVE, DUE TO LEAKAGE. CONTRACT WORKERS FROM COMPANY Y SPECIALISTS, OPENED THE CTR FUEL TANK, REMOVED AND REPLACED THE SHUTOFF VALVE AND CLOSED UP THE CTR TANK. THERE WAS NO INSPECTION OR RII SIGN OFF FOR THE CLOSE-UP OF THE TANK PER GPM 18-01 PARAGRAPH C-10. THE FUEL TANK WAS NOT INSPECTED UNTIL FEB/XB/02 IN ZZZ2.
