Primary Problem | Passenger Human Performance |
Narrative:
During boarding, passenger seated in xa or xb got on joking and saying they didn't know each other. While performing the manual safety demonstration, I had to ask flight attendant #1 to stop the safety PA. I asked the passenger to please keep it down as I could not even hear the safety demonstration PA, as they were very loud, disruptive, and causing other passenger to look at them. I mentioned to the pursers I believed passenger appeared to be intoxicated. Purser said not to serve them any alcohol. Upon informing passenger of this decision when requesting drinks, the man in xb became irate, verbally aggressive, and challenging. In-flight, he cornered the purser in the first class galley and was irate and confrontational. While I saw this, I called the captain and told him what was going on. He said to call if we needed to land. I passed the information on to the purser. He kept harassing me each time I walked past him trying to serve the first class meal. He later apologized. The purser should have called cockpit to land plane after passenger confronted him in first class galley and continued to harass me while I was trying to serve meal. Captain should have landed. Or, captain should have had passenger met by auths in cancun for his aggressive, disruptive behavior.
