Narrative:
Working item 30 -- no sound for stereo channels for entire aircraft and item 32 -- equipment cooling. Safety concern over lack of equipment cooling for critical electronic equipment in main east&east compartment, due to not following chapter 20 standard practices. Maintenance manual 20-10-01-4 paragraph 3C(1) and (3). The audio file server M130 east&east E4-4 tray has a cooling hole approximately 2 inches in diameter drilled into tray with no tray gasket or decal showing where rubber plugs are installed in metering tray, resulting in heavy loss of equipment cooling air pressure. Called technical services X and Y who called engineer Z who says this is normal but has no documentation to support statement.
