Narrative:
Approximately XA30 called to aircraft for multiple PIREPS. I approached each item to the best of my ability. I was in contact with technical service from the beginning. At no time was there any mention of lmp. Not in the maintenance manual, or when I went to order the unit did anything say lmp controled system.

Title: A B737-800 WAS DISPATCHED IN NON COMPLIANCE WITH A REMOTE ELECTRONICS UNIT REPLACED BUT THE REQUIRED AUTOLAND TEST NOT ACCOMPLISHED.
Narrative: APPROX XA30 CALLED TO ACFT FOR MULTIPLE PIREPS. I APCHED EACH ITEM TO THE BEST OF MY ABILITY. I WAS IN CONTACT WITH TECHNICAL SVC FROM THE BEGINNING. AT NO TIME WAS THERE ANY MENTION OF LMP. NOT IN THE MAINT MANUAL, OR WHEN I WENT TO ORDER THE UNIT DID ANYTHING SAY LMP CTLED SYS.
