Narrative:
I was notified by my supervisor that the air test stand to check for pneumatic valve leakage had been out of the calibration date for several months. The test stand was immediately recalibrated by the calibration test crew and was found to be off by less than 1%. The individual who routinely calibrated the test stand had passed away. I now personally, along with others in my work area, monitor daily all test equipment calibration stickers. Our supervisor also gives all shop led mechanics a sheet every month with a list of all out-of-date calibration test equipment for the next month. In addition we now communicate daily with the test crew calibration team.
