Narrative:

Cleared by ground control to 'turn left out of parking and taxi to runway 4.' the left turn out of parking was onto taxiway F which then immediately crosses the approach end of runway 22, which I confused for an inactive crossing runway. The ground controller stopped me immediately after crossing the hold short line and before entering onto runway 22. He then cleared me to cross runway 22 and continue taxiing to runway 4.

Title: BEECH 35 PLT IS STOPPED BY TWR CTLR FROM TAXIING ACROSS ACTIVE RWY DURING TAXI OUT.

Narrative: CLRED BY GND CTL TO 'TURN L OUT OF PARKING AND TAXI TO RWY 4.' THE L TURN OUT OF PARKING WAS ONTO TXWY F WHICH THEN IMMEDIATELY CROSSES THE APCH END OF RWY 22, WHICH I CONFUSED FOR AN INACTIVE XING RWY. THE GND CTLR STOPPED ME IMMEDIATELY AFTER XING THE HOLD SHORT LINE AND BEFORE ENTERING ONTO RWY 22. HE THEN CLRED ME TO CROSS RWY 22 AND CONTINUE TAXIING TO RWY 4.
