Narrative:
Leaving mia airport, we encountered turbulence climbing out at different altitudes for about 1/2 hour. Several seatbelt PA's were made and the flight attendants working the flight took their jump seats as it was too difficult to stand/serve. Then it got smooth, so the flight attendants again began the service. After about 10 mins we hit a big bump and seemed to drop quite a bit. The working purser was thrown to the floor in the first class aisle and 2 of my deadheading flight attendants were thrown up and down on seat xyz arm rest. The purser then advised me several flight attendants had hit the ceiling in first class and a passenger had been hurt going up and then down on the arm rest at seat xya. I went to the back and found all my flight attendants injured and 1 passenger injured and debris everywhere and cart turned over at the aft galley area. In all, 11 flight attendants were taken to the hospital in sju. I assisted in the clean up, along with others of the deadheading crew. We took over all injured flight attendants positioning and landed in sju for help.

Title: A B767-300 CREW, ENRTE TO BRAZIL, ENCOUNTERED SEVERE TURB, INJURING SEVERAL FLT ATTENDANTS AND 1 PAX.
Narrative: LEAVING MIA ARPT, WE ENCOUNTERED TURB CLBING OUT AT DIFFERENT ALTS FOR ABOUT 1/2 HR. SEVERAL SEATBELT PA'S WERE MADE AND THE FLT ATTENDANTS WORKING THE FLT TOOK THEIR JUMP SEATS AS IT WAS TOO DIFFICULT TO STAND/SERVE. THEN IT GOT SMOOTH, SO THE FLT ATTENDANTS AGAIN BEGAN THE SVC. AFTER ABOUT 10 MINS WE HIT A BIG BUMP AND SEEMED TO DROP QUITE A BIT. THE WORKING PURSER WAS THROWN TO THE FLOOR IN THE FIRST CLASS AISLE AND 2 OF MY DEADHEADING FLT ATTENDANTS WERE THROWN UP AND DOWN ON SEAT XYZ ARM REST. THE PURSER THEN ADVISED ME SEVERAL FLT ATTENDANTS HAD HIT THE CEILING IN FIRST CLASS AND A PAX HAD BEEN HURT GOING UP AND THEN DOWN ON THE ARM REST AT SEAT XYA.
