Narrative:
I was informed by my supervisor that a periodic service check merely requires a walk through the cabin and without checking safety equipment to make the aircraft serviceable. The term serviceable is not clear and open to interpretation. The term serviceable to supervision means a mere walk through the cabin without regard to safety equipment.
