Narrative:
While taking off, we were approaching V1 when we heard an aural warning tone. We got to vr speed where we attempted to rotate. The aircraft reacted abnormally, and an aborted takeoff was started. We stopped the aircraft in the overrun area and taxied clear. On a taxiway, after exiting the aircraft, I noticed that both main tires had deflated due to overheat. There were no injuries or damage to aircraft.
