Narrative:
Approaching ont from the west. Cleared direct to right downwind runway 26L. Handed over to the tower 1 mi north of airport. Tower instructions were to cross the west end of runway 26R&left for a left downwind runway 26L. Descended from 3500 ft to pattern altitude and turned base even with threshold of runway 26L. Upon rollout on final, the sun was 12 O'clock position low. Landed by mistake on the taxiway.
