Narrative:
As I taxied out for departure, I did not examine the diagram close enough to realize that the ramp was the taxiway and that taxiway east was part of the runway. Though I stopped short of the landing surface, I still crossed the hold short lines located on the ramp, and I was told by ground control that I should have held short. I should have examined the taxi diagram more closely before proceeding.

Title: BEECH 33, DEBONAIR PLT DID NOT SEE THE RWY HOLD SHORT LINE ON THE ARPT RAMP AREA DESIGNATED AS TXWY E, SINCE HE WAS NOT USED TO HAVING A HOLD SHORT LINE ON THE ARPT RAMP AREA.
Narrative: AS I TAXIED OUT FOR DEP, I DID NOT EXAMINE THE DIAGRAM CLOSE ENOUGH TO REALIZE THAT THE RAMP WAS THE TXWY AND THAT TXWY E WAS PART OF THE RWY. THOUGH I STOPPED SHORT OF THE LNDG SURFACE, I STILL CROSSED THE HOLD SHORT LINES LOCATED ON THE RAMP, AND I WAS TOLD BY GND CTL THAT I SHOULD HAVE HELD SHORT. I SHOULD HAVE EXAMINED THE TAXI DIAGRAM MORE CLOSELY BEFORE PROCEEDING.
