Narrative:
The copilot was cleared for a visual approach to den runway 35R. I noticed him lining up wrong and asked twice if he saw the runway to see if he was correcting. I did not see the B737 airplane at first, on runway 35L and this was letting the copilot correct his mistake when we got a TCASII and I saw the conflict. We climbed and turned steeper to get back in the correct position.

Title: WRONG RWY APCH TO RWY 35L BY A B727 FLC TURNS INTO A POTENTIAL CONFLICT WITH A B737 ON APCH TO SAME RWY AT DEN, CO.
Narrative: THE COPLT WAS CLRED FOR A VISUAL APCH TO DEN RWY 35R. I NOTICED HIM LINING UP WRONG AND ASKED TWICE IF HE SAW THE RWY TO SEE IF HE WAS CORRECTING. I DID NOT SEE THE B737 AIRPLANE AT FIRST, ON RWY 35L AND THIS WAS LETTING THE COPLT CORRECT HIS MISTAKE WHEN WE GOT A TCASII AND I SAW THE CONFLICT. WE CLBED AND TURNED STEEPER TO GET BACK IN THE CORRECT POS.
