Narrative:
My co-worker and I performed a service check on aircraft X. We were about to service oxygen. I closed ground oxygen service panel door -- hearing both snaps lock -- then making a fist and hitting door. As a safety that door is shut. My co-worker observed me doing this action, I continued to perform 'our service check' on aircraft X. I did another walkaround on aircraft X to check fuselage from nose-to-tail and observing all doors and panels were shut. Again, as a safety, I took my fist and pounded each access door -- all were shut, none loose/open. My co-worker and I finished our service check and my lead signed off logbook for return to service. Apparently we heard a problem that aircraft X was on takeoff roll and aborted takeoff because of 'stall warning indications,' etc, so plane came back to gate. My lead checked aircraft X. No problems or damage to aircraft, and aircraft returned to service after my lead went and ran a system check for stall/warning indications.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: A CANADAIR CL65 REJECTED TKOF DUE TO OXYGEN GND SVC PANEL WAS OPEN AND INTERFERING WITH THE STALL WARNING SENSOR.
Narrative: MY CO-WORKER AND I PERFORMED A SVC CHK ON ACFT X. WE WERE ABOUT TO SVC OXYGEN. I CLOSED GND OXYGEN SVC PANEL DOOR -- HEARING BOTH SNAPS LOCK -- THEN MAKING A FIST AND HITTING DOOR. AS A SAFETY THAT DOOR IS SHUT. MY CO-WORKER OBSERVED ME DOING THIS ACTION, I CONTINUED TO PERFORM 'OUR SVC CHK' ON ACFT X. I DID ANOTHER WALKAROUND ON ACFT X TO CHK FUSELAGE FROM NOSE-TO-TAIL AND OBSERVING ALL DOORS AND PANELS WERE SHUT. AGAIN, AS A SAFETY, I TOOK MY FIST AND POUNDED EACH ACCESS DOOR -- ALL WERE SHUT, NONE LOOSE/OPEN. MY CO-WORKER AND I FINISHED OUR SVC CHK AND MY LEAD SIGNED OFF LOGBOOK FOR RETURN TO SVC. APPARENTLY WE HEARD A PROB THAT ACFT X WAS ON TKOF ROLL AND ABORTED TKOF BECAUSE OF 'STALL WARNING INDICATIONS,' ETC, SO PLANE CAME BACK TO GATE. MY LEAD CHKED ACFT X. NO PROBS OR DAMAGE TO ACFT, AND ACFT RETURNED TO SVC AFTER MY LEAD WENT AND RAN A SYS CHK FOR STALL/WARNING INDICATIONS.
