Narrative:
Aircraft X arrived with maintenance note tracking #xxxxx. Aircraft restr to 270 KIAS, due to being deiced in ZZZ. I cleared maintenance note by complying with ji 11220-55. I used citrasafe/water solution, thinking that citrasafe was the same as astromat orange. After further research, found out citrasafe was not the same as astromat orange.

Title: A B737-700 WAS DISPATCHED IN NON COMPLIANCE WITH THE INCORRECT WATER SOLUTION USED TO WASH THE ELEVATOR TAB PER AN AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE.
Narrative: ACFT X ARRIVED WITH MAINT NOTE TRACKING #XXXXX. ACFT RESTR TO 270 KIAS, DUE TO BEING DEICED IN ZZZ. I CLRED MAINT NOTE BY COMPLYING WITH JI 11220-55. I USED CITRASAFE/WATER SOLUTION, THINKING THAT CITRASAFE WAS THE SAME AS ASTROMAT ORANGE. AFTER FURTHER RESEARCH, FOUND OUT CITRASAFE WAS NOT THE SAME AS ASTROMAT ORANGE.
