Narrative:
I was asked to defer the #2 VOR pointer. I then deferred the #2 pointer but it did not work on both number sides of the RMI. I deferred this incorrectly due to it not working on both sides.

Title: A DC9-10 WAS DISPATCHED IN NON COMPLIANCE WITH #2 VOR RMI POINTERS INOP ON BOTH RMI INDICATORS IN CONFLICT WITH THE MEL.
Narrative: I WAS ASKED TO DEFER THE #2 VOR POINTER. I THEN DEFERRED THE #2 POINTER BUT IT DID NOT WORK ON BOTH NUMBER SIDES OF THE RMI. I DEFERRED THIS INCORRECTLY DUE TO IT NOT WORKING ON BOTH SIDES.
