Narrative:
After landing on runway 27L (phl) and approaching taxiway Y, we were given instructions by ATC to exit onto taxiway Y and to hold short of the approach end of runway 9L. As we continued north on taxiway Y, ATC called to confirm that we would hold short of the approach end of runway 9L. Again we replied that we would. (At that point we realized we were beyond runway 9L. ATC called again to state what we were now aware of -- we had passed runway 27R/9L.) we were confused as to why this happened and why we had missed the approach end of runway 27R/9L. In our discussion we both stated that we expected to see runway 27R/9L intersect taxiway Y. (Taxiway Y does not intersect runway 27R/9L.) also, we did not notice any signage for the approach end of runway right/9L on taxiway Y.

Narrative: AFTER LNDG ON RWY 27L (PHL) AND APCHING TXWY Y, WE WERE GIVEN INSTRUCTIONS BY ATC TO EXIT ONTO TXWY Y AND TO HOLD SHORT OF THE APCH END OF RWY 9L.
