Was on a VFR flight from ZZZ to ZZZ1. Flight briefing had no mention of restr flight areas on or near the flight path. ZZZ2 approach contacted me with the advisory to contact ZZZ3 FSS upon landing. Upon calling, I was advised that I had violated an unpublished tfr at newport.
