Narrative:
Made an emergency landing in grr, due to a strong electrical burning smell in both cabins. After taking off from pvd, this strong burning smell was very evident throughout the entire aircraft. I immediately called the cockpit and they told me they could smell it. They turned off a fan switch and the smell seemed to disappear. During the flight the cabin temperature became very warm and we notified the cockpit. They hadn't touched the temperature controller. Hot air was coming in from the vents. Further into the flight, the smell came back even stronger. That's when the decision was made to make the landing in grr. We didn't prepare for an evacuate/evacuation, but captain told us he would say easy victor 3 times and then tell us which doors not to use. After landing and being followed to the gate by emergency equipment, the passenger were deplaned thru the aft airstairs.
