Narrative:
During descent into mia, the flight attendants called and said they had heavy electrical smoke in the cabin. They had the fire extinguishers in hand and were looking for the source of any fire. We declared an emergency and accomplished the 'cabin fire/smoke' checklist. The smoke dissipated. We landed at mia without further incident.
